I never feel comfortable in my alleged ‘comfort zone’ which means that, whenever I can, I push my career out of the boundaries. As soon as I reach a certain level of satisfaction and reward in what I’m doing, I feel the urgent need to investigate somewhere else, to experiment with something new. For this reason, I often leave photography behind in order to try new expressive tools, new ways of thinking; to find pleasure and, hopefully, transmit emotions. Eventually that’s what life and art represent to me: never settle with what you have, always keep exploring. To me, the creativity lies in this journey: this whole process of experimenting, taking risks, breaking rules and discover yourself is my principal scope.
